The No Wake Zone / Re: 100mph CL boat! LOL

I'd tell him-"I'm taking $100 off for every mile per hour UNDER 100 mph it runs"

60 mph at best = $7K  :)

Dan'l
Damn that's a good idea!😂

Lol that guy who's selling it is a mechanic in havasu. His shop's on the California side where I stay. It's a beautiful boat but it's been sitting out in the sun for about a month now without a cover on it. It's going to go shit soon just like the rest of the boats on his property.

Is it sitting far back on the trailer in this picture or is it that just the way it sits?

Nice boat and good story. I hope everything goes good with fixing it. Prepare to never hear the end of it from the Chevy guys about that ford comment haha.

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Water intake trouble
« on: July 30, 2015, 09:37:19 AM »
Lately I've been having some trouble with my water intake to both my headers and motor. Whenever I'm at idle, there is way too much water going into my headers and coming out of the weep holes. Thankfully there hasn't been any reversion, yet. Anyways, I adjusted my intake valve down a little, which helped the amount of water coming into the headers, but now there isn't enough water getting to my engine. I asked a buddy of mine and he said that it could be my t-valve stuck open. Any other thoughts?

Everytime I try to text Jim, an invalid area code message keeps coming up. Is there any other way I am able to contact him or is there a different number?

Where do you guys usually stay for the big bend event? I stayed at the avi last year and there was only like 2 other boats.

Is this the same trip at the avi that took place around October of last year? Or is there going to be another one in October as well?

I'll probably head out earlier just to avoid all of the wake going up River. Might even hit the gorge while I'm up there.

Thanks guys. She's a little rough right now, but the pics will make for some great before and afters.. Pump is getting worked over by Tom Peterson at Peterson Marine in Havasu. The hull will be back in CA after our trailer gets finished for the glass work, gel and paint.

It's so cool to see people keep the boats in the family for so many years. That's what I'd love to do with my dad's 19' Eliminator Daytona. But you've got a nice boat and will definitely be worth the restoration work in the end. Be sure to post progress pics!

I launched at the marina at the end of industrial sunday and the sea weed or grass was terrible. It plugged up my jet and i overheated. No one with a jet should use that launch.
I stay and launch over on the California side so I don't have to have to deal with the Marina. I think I'm just going to stay away from the channel.
