we go to Lost Lake, it's 30 miles north on the 95 from blythe.  They have some camping and is alot of trailers set up. 

Where at in Blythe?  Wish i could get out, there is supposed to be a ton of water this weekend below the parker dam.

I am currently rebuilding my motor and thanks to a few friends I have come upon some new parts so I will not be needing the stock stuff.  Here's what I got..

1- 1 Set of Gen V HO Heads, shows signs of leaking valves (#14097088)

2- Polished Intake Manifold (Not sure what kind, no #'s on it that I could find) Looks to be a dual plane.  

3- Clay Smith Cam.  (#C-304-8-B)
    **It is a solid type cam so if you buy the cam i will give you the lifters that were ran with it. 

4- Set of fabricated Tall Valve Covers complete with tall breather.  Breather mounted towards the front on both valve covers

5- Complete set of pushrods


More may or may not be added to the list as I come up on more parts.  Pictures are to follow as well as part #'s.  Everything is at home so that's why I don't have them now.

Just from reading your last post i would say, pass it up.  If it is making you hesitant before you buy it, just wait to and see how you feel when it's in your driveway and you are finding more stuff that needs done than you originally thought.  Its funny how fast a 1,000$ job can turn into $2000. 
With today's economy, you can find your dream boat out there, just takes some looking.  And the way most people are needing money, you can get a boat that is way better condition for less than it would take to do the interior on the original boat you looked at.
so, if it was me, let it go.  But if it calls to you then there isn't much you can do about that.  good luck with your search.

Here is the boat for you.  A buddy is selling it and i can't believe he is letting it go.  the 454 in it was just rebuilt last season, and I don't mean the begining, more towards the end.  i would be surprised if it has more than 10 runs on it since the rebuild.  Best boat for the money.  Good luck and hope this helps.

Its all about the diverter.  imo you can do more with a diverter than just tabs alone.  So start with diverter and if still not happy, get the tabs too.

Went to Lost Lake this weekend and while going up river noticed that the Tree Swing is gone.  They did some construction work above it and move a ton of dirt taking out the tree.  You can't even see the tree no more where it used to be.   They did make some more beach where it used to be though so it's not that bad I suppose.  Good at  low water, high water it may not work as well.

I figured it was cold... But I didn't think it would be that cold.  So now it's "run the boat and freeze for a couple mins to do it"  or  "Don't run it and stay warm..."  I may be able to get over being cold...  hmmm..

Did you go??  I am curious to what the water temp is, "ballpark" of course.... I want to take the boat down there and run it but the water temp is what dictates if the wife and kids go.

When I first heard this story, I admit, I was a little worried about it.  But once I finally got on the internet and google'd it, it is actually more common than one would think.  It doesn't happen all the time but it did happen twice in Havasu last year and nobody made a big deal about that.
So yeah, it does suck and it's pretty crazy.  But I guess stranger things have happened.
