Pull the bowl. But most likely there's an "A" in there.

You also want to make sure you have enough ring gap to tolerate the temperature and expansion so the ends of the rings don't touch.  You are also looking at building a real nitrous motor and not just a stout NA deal.  Rings and pistons need to be selected accordingly.
X2 👍👍👍

110 was starting at 36 timing for a 250 shot. It will retard when you hit the button for nos

I would be running much better fuel for the nitrous side. JMO, I run c12 for both my motor and nitrous side if I had it my way, it would be c 16 for the nitrous R side, but it's off one fuel tank.  pull 10 degrees for a 28 20 jet set up. Also flowing 6 and a half pounds of fuel pressure. NGK -8 gapped at 24

Digital 6 will work just fine for a 200 shot. You really want to pull 2 degrees for every 50 hp shot of nitrous untill you get the tune good.

Locked out. I have a retarder that pulls 10 degrees when it starts and it come right up to 38 degrees in 30 seconds. Most of the guys are lock out between 34 and 38

Sent from my iPhone using SoCal Jet Boats
Same here but I pull 15 at the start and locked out at 36. Pull 10 degrees for the 28 20 nitrous tune up. 👍👍👍

I would start with.026 and see if it likes it. My old pump gas motor was about 630 lift and I set it to I.026 E.028

Jet Pumps / Re: Pump Work
« on: March 17, 2015, 01:49:47 PM »

Well If I lost 5mph Id try to find a loader with a arc to put as much water into the area as possible so I knew I was getting as much force from my pump as possible.  Could be wrong but just a suggestion.  Ride is better but Id want to gain the speed back and that pump has alot of goodies already
It's a good idea. But, if you put a more aggressive loader into the boat then you run into over charging problems. The only real way to know what's going on is to tap the intake and bowl for pressure. witch I am sure Chris has talked to him about.
Like I said. He may have dropped MPH but the boat most likely is quicker all around with the plates like that.
