okay cool. i had the boat oout yesterday and with me and the ol lady it turned about 43 to 4500. the 4500 was with just me in it. i had it out a month ago and the river and i raced the boat against our stx-15f and was ahead of it. my brother said he was doing about 60 to 62 but not sure thats correct

i just recently rebuilt my 455. we put a 510 in lift in and just switched the springs to some isky stiffer springs and i couldnt be happier with the thumpy thump and performance of it. just had it out yesterday and it turned 4800 rpms. the motor has stock pistons and rods and ka heads. so just a stocker with a cam and 650 holley. starts and runs all day

yeah i grew up with a yellow lab so i wanted to get another lab. hes only 3 months and hes got big feet and hes pretty smart. he picks up on things real quick, already potty trained ( for the most part ).

okay. i talked the gf into it. probably be there around 9 or 10. is it busy on sundays ? and what do they check for on the boat. everytime ive been ive only taken my ski and they dont check anything on weekdays. i heard there more strict on weekends

i did the pertronix conversion kit on my 455 olds dizzy and it works fine, no complaints.  i have regular auto wires as well with ac delco plugs and my motor is completely exposed. also no complaints. just depends on the prefrence i guess

goodluck with the registration. looks like a good project. i have a chrome forward and reverse lever and some old school black guages if you want them ill send a pic of it all.

yeah i was thinking the same thing. clean it real good and sand a little then jb weld it or get some liquid metal on it. the problem is.... if i do that i cant return the pan. the engine builder said if i take the motor back out and to him, he will get a new pan and put it on. so do i wanna pull the motor back out or just jb weld and hope for the best

on the startign issue it just started doing it the last day i was at havasu. when the motor is cold it starts fine but when its hot thats when it struggles. we did the pertronix conversion on the dizz to get rid of the points. could that be an issue ? i checked the terminals and the lead going to the startor had some oil on it but not much
