And here's the cheapy way. 
Hose to motor has a female hose connector at the pressure reg. Just unscrew it and connect the hose. Just be careful with the amount of water you put into the motor, don't over pressurize it. And if possible unhook the drive shaft (dont run the pump dry), or at least stick another hose in there to keep it wet like 2sav said.

I have a feeling you have lots of shots of your "hose set up" already beerjet.
I need to start spending more time on the boat and less time online.
