It's a matter of sound, when its forward all you'll hear is it sucking air and its loud. Spin it around and she's quiet.

I found inland boat center in Perris off 4th street is the closest place. Just picked up 2 cables this week, they don't carry much specific for jets but they have everything else. Place is huge.

Jeez ray I was pointing to it the whole time, I think you need glasses man.

And thanks pat but I ended up picking one up for a 70 chevelle that is 40 degrees off, so 180 on the gauge is really 140 but it should hold me over till I sell off some crap I have laying around to buy a new set of gauges.

Ps. Here's the pic that didn't post earlier

It's the gasket between the carb main body and the plate under the main body u have a hole where the power valve plate goes its blocked by the gasket pm me your number and ill show u which hole it is also what kind of fuel pump u running.

I didn't change that gasket though, and I'm running your standard napa mechanical pump

What kind of carb is it?

Holley 750 dp

id start with seeing if the float was full of fuel. not enough to make it sink , but enough to keep the needle from seating!

Checked that and its fine

Float is stuck. Tap bowl with a sledge hammer. Or a small mallet. Lol

Wasn't sticking

So funny story. I tear down my carb, soak it for a day then clean out every little nook and cranny with carb cleaner and an air compressor. I adjusted everything on the bench and Put said carb back together using a rebuilt kit I purchased from J&M speed out here in riverside this morning and now no matter what I do I have a water fountain out of the secondary overflow. Pulled the needle and seat out found nothing inside causing a bad seal. Used a small screw driver to make sure my float was well...floating and then cleaned out the needle and seat with some air and carb cleaner and reassembled. Still have a fountain. So what am I missing guys?

A diverter can be the best thing for someone being towed but at the same time it could be there worst enemy. Last time I was towing my brother around he was lipping off  because i wasnt going fast enough, a quick up and down on the diverter changed his attitude
