The wayy this pump is set back on my new boat I don't think it's ever going to totally seal I just been keeping an eye on it. I think I'm to install a auto bilge pump so I won't be stressing on it.

It looks to me it was possibly a hull being scrapped and the wayy the bolts look in the stringer easier to sawzall it out. Not the I would of but to each his own.

When you said a little special you weren't kidding. This thing hits so hard I can't believe it the guy who built this thing definitely knows his stuff. It's everything he said and more. It cruises at 4000rpm at 52 mph and he says 96mph at 6700rpm haven't pushed it that hard yet but did hit 87mph at about 6000. Man what a ride!!!

The No Wake Zone / Finally got it!!!!
« on: July 31, 2013, 10:25:03 PM »
I can't tell you how impressed I am with this boat it's my first jet. Seems like when I go I go big or fast in this case   This thing is a rocket. I've driven fast cars ridden in fast boats but this thing blows me away and haven't even squeezed it yet. But then again just got it today. Left the house in Havasu went to Vegas did the trade hit jack smith by 2:00 got to play with it for a few hours and couldn't be happier. It took a while lot of stress but well worth it. I think I'm going to name it Viagra because I've had a boner all day. Thank you Shane. Now I can't wait to hang with you guys. This site is one of the main reasons I got it. 77'Southwind18' big mph and big smiles. I should of taken more photos but was wayy to busy having fun!!!!

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Fuel tank question ?
« on: July 31, 2013, 12:14:20 AM »
How big of fuel tanks can I install in a 18' Southwind it currently has two 11gal tanks that's never going to cut it. With a cruising rpm of 4000. I'll be lucky to get from topock to jack smith and back. Would it be worth adding a tank under the bow?  Thanks Maloney

I don't know if any of you know him his name is Shane and owns a tow business out of Vegas. I was going to trade my bike for his boat but unfortunately he was involved in an accident before we could do the deal   But he needs our prayers and thoughts!
This is his boat if you recognize it.
Thanks Tad Maloney

Well that trade didn't happen why can't people bring what say they have. I know lets post pictures on Craigslist  of when the thing was first built then go hammer it for a couple seasons and act like its the same new built. I'm not losing faith though I know there's still some honest people out there. I'll get the right one!!!
