Hey Chaz, have you tried Centinela or Calipatria? They're always short people!

Not so much as fuk with them but if you wanted to dock . Your shit outta luck . Most of the fisherman say there are a hazard and a pest . I dont think you can do anything to them even if they jump on your boat . Just let them run rampant I guess.

I used to go fishing from San Diego, not anymore. Tired of dealing with the f'ing seals. They steal your bait, steal the fish while your trying to reel it in. They've been known to jump up on boats and attack fishermen for their catch. You used to be able to bat them away, fire blanks, etc. now you can't and they're numbers are booming out of control now that the environmentalists have protected them. It's a big issue with fishermen.

Had a similar experience once when I was in the Air Force. Doing a late night shake down run on a desert road in my 70 Nova LS6 454 motor, auto trans, & 2.73 gears. Estimated top speed was like 160. I'm haulin and then turn and head back. I see this sheriff's car with lights pass me head on. I know he's after me when I see his brake lights so I just pull over and wait for him. He finally pulls back checks me out and sees the military id next to driver's license and gives me a lecture about speeding then starts asking me all kinds of questions about my car. I pop the hood etc. He let me go with a warning. He could believe that pos could go that fast.  :sly:

My buddy got popped by CHP last tuesday night. We were carpooling home from work (four big dudes in a little Suzuki swift lol) he was driving for the owner of the car because that dude was sick (cold) so we're going along and my buddy says oh sh## he was tired (and used to a car with cruise control) and didn't realize he was doing 85 in 70 zone. The officer comes up gets all his info asks us which prison we work at (we're all in our uniforms) so we're thinking he might get a break then while the officer is back running the info my buddy mentions the officer's name and I said Oh Sh## that's the same prick who wrote me up for 73 in a 70 four years ago!!! so I tell my buddy he's screwed. Sure enough the chipper gave him a ticket. He did give him a break in a way, he wrote him for 75 instead of 85.

WarZone / Hinckley to be released

  :sly:

NEWS RELEASE:

 Hinckley to be released

You might recall that John Hinckley was a seriously deranged young man who shot President Reagan in the early 1980s. Hinckley was absolutely obsessed with movie star Jodie Foster, extremely jealous, and in his twisted mind, loved Jodie Foster to the point that to make himself well known to her, he attempted to assassinate President Reagan. There is speculation Hinckley may soon be released as having been rehabilitated. Consequently, you may appreciate the following letter from John McCain that the staff at the mental 20 facility, treating Hinckley, reports to have intercepted this past weekend:

To: John Hinckley

From: John McCain

My wife and I wanted to drop you a short note to tell you how pleased we are with the great strides you are making in your recovery. In our fine country's new spirit of understanding and forgiveness, we want you to know there is a bilateral consensus of compassion and forgiveness throughout.

My wife Cindy and I want you to know that no grudge is borne against you for shooting President Reagan. We, above all, are aware of how the mental stress and pain could have driven you to such an act of desperation. We are confident that you will soon make a complete recovery and return to your family to join the world again as a healthy and productive young man.

Best Wishes,

John and Cindy McCain

PS: Barack Obama has been humping the shit out of Jodie Foster.  Thought you should know.

We were at the second sandbar past the "no ski" buoys. Like I said pretty sure I saw you go by saturday. You were going upriver on the east side (AZ) of the river. We were parked on the west side (CA) of the sandbar. There were so many boats that unless you slowed down to idle you probably would miss what you were looking for. I didn't run into YourMom until I did a walk around the sandbar and he was directly across from me lol (I was on the east side at first then moved over when Marc showed up).

The No Wake Zone / The Martinez Report
« on: August 31, 2008, 03:56:10 AM »
Had a great time at Martinez yesterday. Met a few dudes from the board. I finally caught up to Marcsrollin and gave him the intake. But I also got to meet YourMom & DoucheBag. I think I saw PwTony go by heading up river. The sandbar got pretty crouded at one point but started thinning out around 430. Some guy brought out this strange little monster truck looking stereo (had subwoofers for wheels) it was pretty cool, but they played crappy music and drowned out everyone elses music. I also talked to Marc's friend Sebastion (hope I got the name right), he brought a cool old Sanger flatty (Marc let me know how much he wants for it when he's ready to sell). Had a blast, got the sh#@ burned out of my face and neck and now it sucks because I'm off to work again today. Look forward to seeing everyone again Oct. 4th.

only thing different I would've done (besides allen bolts) is to polish intake and spacer. You can always do that next time you freshen it up. I wasn't sure I would like polished intake but I really love the way mine came out. Now my carb looks afu, need to have it powder coated lol.

The No Wake Zone / Re: First time driving a boat ,Funny sh*t
« on: August 25, 2008, 05:06:11 PM »
grew up around jet boats & racing. Bought my first boat last spring. Launched with no problems. This is easy, its all coming back to me then I look over my shoulder for leaks and I'm pumping water big time. WTF, I forgot to reconnect the water line from pump to motor. Sue is already half way up the ramp with the trailer. I spot a beach area (about 3 ft of beach with shear drop off) about 50 feet or so and head straight for that giving it gas because I'm leaking water whether I idle, gas it, or shut down. Beach it with no problems but still leaking, switch on the bilge pump (which worked at home) and nothing. Swell!!!, (okay, I used a better four letter expletive) no I've got to reconnect line and header is smokin hot. Get burned or sink....get burned. Get line reconnected but still have to bail water from bilge (already over stringers and half way up battery. Sue comes down and brings the towels etc and I grab one soak it and put it between me and the header. The only thing I can find to bail with is a baby wipes box. I rip off the lid and toss the wipes and begin bailing. I finally got enough water out to trailer it and empty bilge and we go out for an hour on the water before coming home and getting a new bilge pump the next day. I will never forget that day (not to mention the nasty burn scar I have on my thigh lol)!!!
