That tube looks like it is maybe pressed in. Get it out of there and drill and tap it for 1/2NPT and plug it like the one next to it or put a pressure gauge there. The drill size is on the TAP itself.

This is what I did. Worked out nice. Also whenever possible use aluminum fittings and plugs. Brass on aluminum corrodes faster.

I gotta work Saturday morning but I will be out there in the afternoon, even if it's only a couple of hours. I will prep the boat Friday night and have it ready to go.
