If it is set back, you'll have to make a set. Jig saw and a drill is about all you'll need. Maybe 1/8th to 1/4 aluminum. Rough out a shape make it fit then dill some holes. Make it work 👍👍👍👍

1. Miersch 5 degree lo pro intake with a B1 ride plate and B1 cradle. Also comes with a 3 degree back cut shoe and a flat shoe & 1 .030 1 .010 .060 shim. ( will not separate these because they only fit the Miersch intake) Sorry ill get a photo of the intake in the morning. SOLD
2. NOS cheater nitrous system. No2 and Fuel solenoids plate for 4500, lines, and braided lines from the plate to the solenoids, and N02 and Fuel jets from 100 to 250 quared and 10 under on the fuel side. $300.00
3. Gas fills. SOLD
4. IMCO Puke tank SOLD
5. Bassett twisty headers BBC $250.00
6. Berkley Stainless Impeller B Cut SOLD!!.

You will understand when you have kids. I take river trips now and this would not be much different from most of my trips. If all of the above mentioned items were not a problem I still would not put up that kind of money up to race against 4 or 5 boats and play the numbers game. And no disrespect to the guy's that do it just not my gig.Yeah, racing the series and what not is very expensive. Racing to a number is not for everybody, I get that.

« on: December 09, 2014, 09:05:07 PM »NOS in not the monster it made out to be. You will need to have a motor set up to run NOS with anything over a 100 shot. I run two separate fuel systems one VP 110 for normal use and one with 116 for the NOS. I also have a separate holley blue just for the NOS solenoid. You will also need a retarder the set up depends on the shot size. Most the boats on the river hitting triple digits that I have run into are N/A motors with NOS just remember true triple digit boats are not as common as some might think. If you are not stuck on that hull I would look to make a change. Most guy's look for right hull and the motor is secondary in the 100mph process. Whatever choice you make wear a lifeline. I have attached a couple of pictures for you tx 19 gullwing and a 496N/A motor.true story right here!!! Nitrous is your friend, when you know what you are doing. 👍👍👍👍👍 pull 2 degrees for every 50 hp shot and a good fuel. Also flowing fuel pressure is a must for a big shot 👍👍👍👍

You are out of your mind if you think you will be doing triple digits in a Bonneville...
IMHO you are staring a 85-90 MPH boat right in the face. Anything over that and you will be able to smell your angels perfume...
Don't hate, just trying to reel in your expectations a little.
BTW, not impossible, just need to keep really good notes and get familiar with these guys I know. Mr. Trial and Dr. Error...

75 HP out of 35 cubes? Interesting.
The word that shut it down for me was "Inexpensive".
I can tell you this, 700 HP would be tuned to the gnats ass and on the ragged edge. You could not cheat on one single part. A 496 would have to turn near 5,800 RPM+ to make those numbers. Not sure reliability would be there. This does not sound like a quarter miler, but more of a river racer.

I can vouch for the pump gas motor I'be been running for the last 3 years. Single carb 461 ci BBC with Brodix heads. Thing made 625 on the dyno. 10.2 to 1 if we made that, I think you can make 700 on pump gas with a 496 no problem. 👍👍👍👍👍
