It's a mildy built bbo I'd guess between 400-450. No shoe and ride plate. Seems to ride good maybe a little wet .

Here's a few pics of it on plane

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Re: Fuel Problem???
« on: December 03, 2014, 08:14:59 PM »
My buddy has a 21ft eliminator daytona with a blown 482 bbc that has dual holley 750s. He ran it labor day weekend and it ran perfect. The next time he took it out it ran fine at idle and on the trailer, but as soon as it got on plane it craps out and dies. It will fire right back up and as soon as you get on plane, same thing again. He replaced a bunch of ignition stuff, plugs wires, msd box, cap and rotor, and the battery thinking it was that, but it still does it. Hes not computer savvy and I told him I would see if any of the experts wanted to chime in or if anyone has had this problem before. Thanks Fellas.

Sounds like water in the gas to me.

Hulls / Re: Floor Replacement
« on: November 30, 2014, 02:34:11 PM »

I need to replace the floor on my Taylor of California tunnel. I've been reading up on this and many people have stated that you nee to support the hull at the two rear corners and one up front on the keel, is this true for a tunnel or can I do it on the trailer? Or is there another way that's better? Thank You for the help!
Are you replacing the floor or the stringers. Or both???? On mine I left it on a dolly .

WarZone / Re: Electronics Cover
« on: November 23, 2014, 10:33:56 AM »
So in my boat we are mounting all the electronics for the engine on one aluminum plate on the rail kit. But I need a clear plastic cover that I can attach to the plate to cover it all. Has anyone seen anything like this? It needs to be 12x12 and at least 3 in tall.

i would just have it made out of aluminum. i would be cheeper. Thats what iam doing in the race boat.
A great example here with Data box on one side and eletronics on the other.

Gelcoat / Paint / Fireberglass Repair / Re: Stringer question
« on: November 18, 2014, 10:53:27 AM »
You'll have to cut the wood to the shape of the boat. It's not that difficult. When you put the stingers back in on the wet glass, use some weight to hold them down. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
