A couple things that you will find:
Pressures will vary between different hulls. I.E. My tunnel will read different than my V hull.
Also,
Pressures will vary between pumps. Yours is the first Panther I have heard of someone doing a pressure tap on. I'm curious as to what numbers you will come up with. If I were to make a guess, I would wager that your numbers are off from what I see in my Jacuzzi / V bottom or my Berk tunnel.
I find that pressure numbers are a good tuning tool for your own reference and understanding what your boat is doing. I wouldn't put too much effort into picking a number right off the bat and trying to achieve it. There are guys running real well with a low pressure number, and then guys running real well with the same equipment with a high number.
