Edelbrock heads, block bored .030 over, Comp Cams chrome moly roller rockers, 3/8" hardened push rods w/guide plates, SRP forged pistons, Total Seal pistons rings, Clay Smith bump stick and lifters, 10 quart dooley pan, Tunnel ram with a pair of Holley 660s, 150 shot of nitrous (Edelbrock), Federal Mogul beaings, Fel Pro gaskets, All ARP fasteners.

Got six seasons of hard running (lots of nitrous run through it). Did a leak down on it a week ago and had one cylinder at 4%, one at 6% and the rest all at 5%.

Oh yeah it's all stock lower end with 2 bolt mains, stock crank turned .010" and recon'd factory rods.

I know the stock bottom end is good to 650 hp. Ask me how I know.

How's that?

I think we all know the heart of Hotboat was in just jets... it was the only place a question got answered and decent information shared... it seems this site is on its way to filling that void.
However, the rest of the site was GREAT entertainment and by far the best place to buy and sell stuff... a valuable resource lost.

On another note… did anyone read the letter from the editor in the new mag! The ditsy chick who’s running the thing is fresh out of college… seems her only boating experience is flashing her rack on daddy’s boat. The ship is sinking fast boys.

As Old Rigger said earlier on in this post, it's not the first time they tried the pay site thing. It didn't work that time and it won't work this time. Way too many other places for everyone to migrate to (like this one). I signed up on HB back in 2000 (one of the first to join). It was like the wild west back then. Death threats and people getting way way out of hand. Although I had signed up, I wouldn't hang out there (it gave me a headache). I'd pop in from time to time and see the same ol crap, then bounce to Banderlog or RJB and a few others. If you thought it was bad just before they shut it down, you should've seen it back then (very mild by comparison).

I could care less that they've shut it off with one exception.............They dumped all that information (the good stuff that was mixed in amongst the crap). All gone and some of it never to be seen again.

Thanks to So Cal Jetboats.com for providing a place for all us people (that are too cheap to pay for a forum).

That's cool. The look on his face is a cross between terrified and all fired up.

Couldn't you have found him a little newer road cone though?

How long (distance) does the bottle last?
