It's a JB split bowl

Holy Hammered stuff Batman.

It's surely not helping things.

I assume you pulled the nut?

Get the impeller off and check the port in the suction housing and wear ring clearance.

You need a wear ring,  impeller,   bearing,  seals and packing minimum.

GT

Will I be able to reuse the bowl

ok.   Is it possible that your gate valve by the pump is not opening all the way?  Have you looked at that tee for the motor to see if it is an open tee.  I am only asking because you said the last motor did the same thing.  Especially if you reused the same components over on this motor.  That would lead me to believe that one of the components is faulty.   What motor are you running?

I did check the gate valve and the tee is open everything originally came out of a ranger jet with a Panther and worked great so transferred all lines as is into the Rogers hull with the Berkeley, motor is a 460

In the picture that shows a yellow handled valve and a tee.  Is that the tee to the headers or the inlet plates on the motor?

That goes to the headers

Just to be sure, when it's running, was there water coming out of the dump line and headers? What was the stream like out of the dump line?
Did the stream change when you opened the dump valve?

Are these the same water lines and fittings you had on your old motor?

I ran water straight thru motor and it seems everything flows fine

It's actually just a hollow tee that goes to motor water plate

It has a 1/2 pipe that comes off the jet to a valve then 5/8 hose to the basset t then that goes up to the plate and then I have 2 lines that comes off thermostat housing both 5/8 one line has a valve for the headers and the other goes to the valve out the back of the boat

Motor has only been in the boat for a season with very little run time and I have a valve that comes to control how fast the water exits the motor
