Selling the boat, !979 South Wind BBC454 This boat is in really shape. Paint still looks pretty nice. I recovered the seats in leather my self They look ok I think. Definitely not a pro job. It could use some new carpet, not tore up or rioting just old. Berkley pump, The motor runs great. 10.1 comp, 550lift cam, 427 square port heads (940 castings) torker intake 750 holley. « on: February 07, 2014, 05:46:05 AM »Working a deal with another member for some basset's, if that goes thru I'll be looking to sell these. square port bbc. the right side log had a split in the water jacket on the bottom, I had it tigged up last night and I will put the boat in water for a leak test the first warm day we get. Make offer and you pay for the trip.Deal fell through on the headers, will repost if I find some headers.

I traded my drag bike for the Southwind, had the bike up for sale for about 6 months with no serious offers Then this guy offered to trade straight up for the boat. I was like uh..... yea! Here's a video of the last pass I made on it. first time I rode it in almost a year, went 6.06 rite off the trailer. Quickest pass ever was 5.98/117

Can any one tell if this is a stock or after market snout. drop? I wouldn't think a stocker would be polished. I'm new to the jet world and just trying to find out all I can about this boat.
