Thanks guys! I'm going to look them up now on Instagram and give them a call. Yeah, that's defiantly one of the possibilities. At least I got to drive it for a while and see what it's made of. Coming from a wakeboard boat, it's easy to see why jet boats are becoming so popular again, they're fun to drive and you don't have to spend $80,000.00 to have a good time. Thanks again guys

Thanks for the advice man, seeing that this is my first jet boat, im going to work on it this weekend and figure out the issue. I know it's minor, I'll defiantly look into the lines and take them apart one by one to see what's stopping her from getting gas. I have a brand new water/fuel separator, is it good to still have a fuel filter in the line before the fuel gets there?

Haha yeah, that was it. We were staying in the middle building, second floor. Why didn't you bring your boat?

Anyone out there know a good boat mechanic near Carson, Gardena or LA county?

There is a new battery in the boat, no issues with that. It was in drive (Forward) and it sputtered then shut down. It would start up again, go another 30 feet and then shut down. No smoke coming from anything. I'm almost positive it's a minor issue but any help is appreciated big time.

I saw a Chevy truck parked at the nautical with a so cal jet boats sticker, I'm sure that was you bud. It was windy today but Saturday was nice

A buddy and I just got back from Havasu this weekend, it was a great trip and it felt good to be out there until things went sour this morning. The boat ran great all day Saturday, but this morning it would stay idle and running but the second I put it in forward it would cut out on me every rime. I'm new to the jet boat world so I did the right thing and out her back on the trailer. I'm thinking its a carb issue because it sounds like she's not getting enough gas. My fuel lines are new, the fuel pump is the only thing I noticed is that the owl is low. I'm pretty sure it a minor issue but any advice would help, thanks dudes....

Was this the boat that was on Craigslist recently? Looks like it's in gray shape, you're stoked

Thanks guys, looking forward to making this boat my own. I also need to grab a Bimini top, either blue or yellow if anyone has one and all the mounting hardware 👍

Thanks guys! Appreciate the feedback. I'm cool with anywhere near Parker but I'll take anything into consideration 👍

The No Wake Zone / Whats UP!

Whats up everyone, my name is Kyle and I'm a new member here looking for some advice. I recently purchased my first jet boat last Friday, its a 1975 Eliminator bubble deck that's in great shape. I just have a couple questions....

1). Where are the best valued places to stay on the river? We want to rent a trailer or house so any info would be greatly appreciated.

2). Best places to have your boat looked at for motor work/part upgrades in so cal? (Always good to know)

I'm sure these questions have been answered somewhere else but I don't know how to completely navigate the site yet. Thanks

Pics of my boat below!
