I just wanted to apologize for not being able to make it.  Motor not ready, no way to break it in, and driving through snow the whole way just doesnt work.  Good luck to all who race.  Looking forward to March at Puddingstone.

Which is closer, Needles or Parker?  Where are the majority of racers staying or are they scattered?

Do we have a date on the Havasu race?  I still need to break in my motor and the river here is frozen over.  Might make it a little tough.

I have no problem running as an outlaw event.  The points would be nice, but just enjoy the chance to go racing.  The amount of purse money is as important to me as how it is divided up.  I like the way we did it at Burley where the purse was divided equally amoungst the boats in the class.  It makes getting there a whole lot easier for those of us who live far away.

I am on the Burley Regatta Committee and I can tell you that you have your work cut out for you.  However, as a racer, I greatly appreciate it.  It would be nice to go to another race with some purse money or tow money as I prefer to call it.  Idaho is a long way from Bakersfield.  I like your tentative schedule, allowing us to spend time with family and friends.  Dont seem to be able to do that much anymore.

What month are you planning this potential race in Buena Vista, and what kind of entry fee?

Can you have it done by february?  Louie Schindler just called me from the kilos, said he just talked to Anne Hoban and she said the permitts were getting done for the race in Havasu.  She was asking about the comp jets.  He is supposed to call me back later today to get some definite info.

I totally agree with you about the races and what Ross is doing, dont like it but understand.  I wish I was closer to help promote our class.  I will do what I can from up here.  Well maybe if Jim keeps trying he will get it done.

Hey nice pics Brad.  Now go get your boat done.  lol.  I talked to Mark Moyle tonight and he said he spoke with Jim Rich and Jim was saying they are considering adding the comp jets to a race in Havasu in feb 2009.  Can anyone confirm?  Do we have anyone promoting us?  Lets face it, the comp jets are one of the biggest classes out there and have some of the best racing.  I have to admit the GN racing was pretty good at Parker.

The 402 is being repainted so wont be there, I will be there with Marks motor.  I ran out of time to get mine done.  Didnt want to take the chance putting it together last minute and having it blow up again.
