« on: January 31, 2024, 07:44:32 AM »
Ok engine is out, boat needs to go. everything else is there. Casale vdrive, driveshaft shield, cables, controls, prop shaft. price dropped to $1000 come and get it. the vdrive or trailer alone is worth that. i just dont wanna oull it all apart and scrap the boat and piece it out, id rather sell it whole.

Someone needs to take this thing off my hands. I purchased years ago. Was a beautiful, magazine article boat in the late 80s. I wanted it to have a Pontiac powered boat to go with all my Pontiacs. I haven?t had it in the water for at least 4 years. I?m pulling the engine tomorrow morning. It will be sold minus engine! Everything else, marine specific parts, I will leave with it. Unless the buy doesn?t want it. Trailer will need tires, upholstery is still in good shape, just really dirty, will clean up nice. cover is good. Trailer has permanent Cali tag, no title. Ask me any questions, I?ll answer the best I can. Asking $2000, let?s make a deal and get it out of my way.

The No Wake Zone / Curious about value
« on: August 06, 2021, 07:25:51 PM »
So I’m curious about what my boat is worth. I’ve been thinking of selling one or both boats I have. I just wonder what the market is for them. I just don’t use them much anymore and hate to let them sit around and rot. One boat is a 67 Byers 16’ flat bottom vdrive, bought this cause it was a Pontiac powered boat, turns out it was featured magazine years ago. Not sure I’m ready to part with it, and if I do it’ll probably be minus engine.
The other boat is a 75 spectra 21’ jet. Was setup for olds, but of course, was a bad engine. Was working on a Pontiac powered boat there too.
Both need work but are water worthy, I’ve had them both out a few years ago. If you guys can give me an idea of what to expect value wise without engines, it will help me decide what I wish to do with them. I have so many other car projects that I don’t have time for the boats right now.
Thanks for any reply’s

It's a 66 Byers flat bottom. Interested most in it for "brakes" and use around the dock more than anything else

I have a few sets, as a matter of fact I also have the entire bracket with good bushings in it.

Bushings alone $25/pair or $45 for the bracket with them in it. Plus shipping.

I'll take just the bushings, sent you a pm thanks!

104 in the duagram is exactly what I need

I'm almost certain this guy has a jacuzzi pump and is looking for the rubber bushings numbered "104" in the diagram.

I have a few good ones if my guess is correct.

I have a 75 spectra that was olds powered, I'm switching to pontiac power and noticed when pulling the olds out the the rubber mounts on the bell housing to pump housing mount are just trashed, the rubber is split with chunks missing. Does anyone know where I can find these? A search online isn't turning up anything.

I have a running 350 olds engine in boat now, all mounts go with engine. Also have two 455 blocks one .030 over the other .060 over, with four heads two cranks, one set of .060 pistons and rods, new rings, bearings for one crank(undersized already) enough stuff to rebuild a good 455 or possibly two if you wanted to do the work on the .060 block. All three engines and parts for $600. This stuff needs to go asap.

Hit the post button by mistake, I bought this for the engine and engine parts, I don't need the rest. Everything else is there. Boat has not been registered in over 15 years, AZ game and fish said and inspection and they will register no problem. Looking to get $600 for what u see in the pictures, if interested I have a running 350 olds installed in my jet boat now. And two 455 olds, one rebuildable one that is .060 over already. Looking to get another $600 for all three engines and extra parts.
