Hit me up when you get back if you'd like to stop by and check them out. I'm in no rush to get rid of them... You always need tools right after they're gone. Lol

Cleaning out the garage, haven't used these in a while. I bought the drill years ago for work but never ended up using it there. Comes with case, 2 batteries (one might need to be replaced), drill, charger, and circular saw. $75 Located in Rancho Cucamonga (818) 219-2549 Steve

I used this once to drain the oil out of my engine so I could install a permanent drain tube and save my sanity. Why people put an engine in a jet boat without one is beyond me...   :screwy: but this was a real life saver, no mess and actually got 98% of the oil out with some patience. Just want to pass it on to the next jet boater with the same dilemma. $10 pick up only. Steve 818-219-2549 located in Rancho Cucamonga

Yes I picked it up a few months ago. I'm sure it was the one you saw, I had been watching it for a while wondering why it hadn't sold (the price was high but obviously nobody tried negotiating  >:D). I Wasn't exactly looking for a project this big... But the price was right so I couldn't say no. i love the lines of these boats and the interior seems just roomie enough so you don't feel like you went for a road trip in a Geo Metro after a day on the water!  :o Maybe you guys can give me some insight about how these do on the water? This things a tank... How fast can I expect to go with my mild 460 and A cut impeller? I've also heard they are tricky to maneuver because of the hull shape... Is this true? And are there any specific design flaws I should fix while I have it torn down? (I already replaced the fiberglass tanks). Thanks for any advice you have and hope to see you guys on the water someday!

This is the best thread on here!  ;D now maybe I don't have to search the whole damn site looking for pics of these beauties! Here's mine... 1975 Mini, Holman & Moody 460 BBF, Berk and Place diverter. I've been spending every spare minute on her in hopes of being seaworthy by next season!

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Holman Moody
« on: August 30, 2015, 07:40:56 PM »
So I just bought a 75 Hallett with a 460 with a bunch of shiny holman moody parts (let me add I had no clue who they were when I bought the boat). The bell housing has a identification tag with a serial number so I got curious and started researching... The number belongs to a 460 marine engine built in 1975... My question is, would this be the original engine? Was this a common Hallett motor choice? Or is this just a huge coincidence that someone put a bellhousing that's the same year as the boat? Any info would be appreciated...

Thanks but I'm actually looking for the triangular/square ones that fit along the sides behind the panel. The same shape as the original but aluminum instead of fiberglass...
