« on: June 16, 2017, 04:09:34 PM »This boat is a 1981 Texas performance "Texas tunnel" jet boat. This is the 19' hull made by Earl Smith out of Texas. These hulls are very similar to a CP hull but layed thin and light for drag racing.
This boat was a record holding boat in blown gas jet class back in the day.
Boat gas been converted from a center drive drag boat to a river cruise or racer.
Engine is a 468 big block Chevy. Roller motor. 427 Chevy high performance heads. Every cyclinder has 170-180psi very good compression. Deep sump oil pan.
Oil and filter have 0 hours on it
New fuel filter and rebuilt mechanical fuel pump
All water and gas lines on boat and engine are stainless steel braided lines with AN fitings
Edlebrock tunnel ram with dual Holley 660 center squirter carbs. may need rebuild kits from sitting all winter.
Brand new MSD distributor
Brand new marine deep cycle battery
Pump is a berkley pump with stainless steel impeller in great shape. Pump also has a droop snoop and custom nozzle.
Has drag style cable steering very adjustable.
All gauges work and are mechanical
Interior is pretty much brand new. Zero rips or tears. 4 seater boat.
Brand new carpet in boat
The paint is all custom from when it raced also comes with a custom canopy the attaches to the trailer and covers boat. Matches the boat looks really good.
This boat is one of a kinda and rides very nice on the river because of being a tunnel hull. It hauls ass and will beat just about any jet boat you race on the river. If you have plans to build a badass river or drag race jet boat this is the hull to do it. Hull is so light 2 men can pick it up without the motor in it. This boat is very clean one of the cleanest on Craigslist guaranteed.

This is a 1977 Challenger Jet boat 18 ft
454 big block Chevy mostly stock
Single demon 750 carb
Bassett twist header (No leaks) water inducted with high medium and low setting
All the seals and gaskets, oil, oil filter on the motor are all brand new done on 5/28 by GS marine in Norco.
Brand new Holley fuel regulator
All braided stainless steel water lines/fuel lines with AN fittings.
Berkley pump with a hydraulic place diverter. Throws a huge roost and trims the boat really nice.
Place diverter has a brand new hydraulic pump from place diverter bought it 2 weeks ago.
Aluminum impeller
Pump serviced by GS marine when motor was done.
What's unique about this hull is the pump is set all the way out of the back of the hull making a his a really quick good riding hull at speed.
Steering cable is in great condition no issues.
Has a matching Bimini top in brand new condition.
All the seats have zero tears or rips.
Dual batteries both of which are brand new. On a selector switch and batteries in stainless steel batter boxes.
Competitive trailer with 2 month old tires and all the hub rebuilt and greases a month ago.
Had a full sound system 2 Amps 2 subs and 4 speakers
The boat has been out to needles and back twice in the last month and ran flawlessly all weekend and fires up right away every time. It's as turn key as turn key gets. Pick it up and take it to the river same day.
This boat still turns heads everywhere you go. One of the nicest best running jet boats on Craigslist hands down.
