Sorry I've kept everyone outta the loop on the site, just been busy as hell working my ass off to get this goddamn thing back on the lake! I have changed a few things and done some things better this time around. My brother or I will be posting pics real soon nothing special but she's definitley back and working great SO FAR!  still cannot believe that this thing is still able to run after being 83ft deep for 2 weeks just crazy to me  Did have big plans for a new crazy motor set up but that fell through it would have been super unique a 500ci caddy twin turbo it was sick as hell!!!!! But for now the 460 is still a fighter to stay alive and sure she'll get me through anything at this point! I have next weekend planned so far but we'll see. I really wanted to go out during the week when it calm, but can't get off work so I guess her next resurected maiden voyage will have to be with all the craziness of SAG on the weekend, including roll bar boats and lake lice.  I will post it up when I'm toatally lake ready with pics! Yeah SORRY guys! Just been busy as hell! The reason I wasnt there was I had some family matters that I had to take care of Sun morn and he didn't call me till 12:30 so I had to haul ass all the way from Gilbert to get there. I picked it up around 1 or 1:30 it had just finished draining.  Got it home and it was crunch time! Tore all the interior out of it, man did it stink like dirty pu@$y!!!! But all in all was not in too bad of shape, if thats possible to say after 2 weeks of 83 feet deep! Some pretty rough scratches on the rear where it was stuck in 2 feet of mud and wedged in between a tree, but no holes, thank god! The diver said it took over 1500lbs of air bag pressure just to get it out of the mud. I guess it was straight up and down just stuck like a lawn dart! My buddy came over and helped me try to save the motor he's been through this motor saving before so I'm glad he was there. We pulled all the plugs and started draining the oil or water should I say then he sprayed copious amounts of PB in the cylinders! Then we hand cranked the motor and it actually was turning great, BLASTING water out of the cylinders! Sprayed a bunch more PB into the cylinders and put new oil in it, then had to let it sit because it was already midnight and had to be up for work at 4am!  Yesterday we got the carb all cleaned and dryed out and all the electronics cleaned. Still can't believe the distributor, the starter and all the gauges still work not that I'm keeping the gauges they are f'd up looking! So anyways, the electric fuel pump was done and of course every place was already closed  so we just dumped gas in the carb, after going and buying a new batt  and she barked and kept on barking, she really really wants to come back to life!! I was suprised and happy   at how easily she wanted to fire up! So, I think after I get that new fuel pump and constant good fuel she'll run (fingers crossed tightly) after work! We'll let her run for like a minute or 2 and start draining oil again until I have clean oil. Thank you Ray for those pictures that is KICK ASS of you, you're the man!!!! As too the rest of you, I'm very thankful for all the concern and all the help! I really wanted to be badly but, sh!t happens right! I love that Jet Boaters are truley like a family and cool as hell when you get to know us, and not just loud, annoying, and pointless boats on the water like everybody thinks right! Fu@k them all! I'll keep all of you posted as to if she comes back to LIFE!

Yeah sick is definitely the word it's not coming up now till next weekend Charlie which is the diver helping me is sick!  WTF, so my nightmare continues yet another week, I honestly cannot believe this! I never thought I would make it through this week and now I have to wait another week! This is like torturing someone by pulling their fingernails and toenails off with needle nose pliers! Mike, the other diver said that they were not going out this weekend cause it's a holiday weekend, and that he could do it on Mon. But he could cost a shit load more $$$ and Charlie said Mike drags to hook his boats and that can take forever! So again YES my pain is to the bone at this point!! My brain is mush

Thanks to all of you for your input on this subject! It has given me a pretty good idea of what I need to do. First I have to see the damn thing come out of the water! it's driving me nuts waiting till fri or sat till I even see what I'm getting myself into! 

What if i take it straight home, drain the oil and water out of the cylinders and air out the carb, put new oil or atf in it right away? What about the distributor and the starter are they gonna be shot? Also, they are not marine products! What about the thru the transom wet headers do they have to come off also?

Yeah I will have to try the mechanical i guess and it felt like i was moving for sure. The gauges are the Hardin Marine brand which I dunno if they are good or not but I guess you get what you pay for! Also the volt was only showing 10 volts so I put a multimeter to it and all gauges are getting around 12.69 volts or around there and then the volt just stop working completely so maybe faulty gauges all around but i find that hard to believe!

Hi yall kinda new to the jet boat scene and just needed some help on a couple of issues. I have a 20ft. 1979 omega with a 460 and a jaccuzzi wj in it. I have a edelbrock performer 360 intake with an edelbrock 750. Just put a new pertroniks dizzy and coil in it. It has a dooley 10 quart oil pan, dont know what cam. I just took boat out yesterday and the boat feels like its moving good but tach only says its 3000 rpms when we were full bore floored also the oil press guage said around 40 psi when on trailer and stayed that way until im on it then down below 20 too almost a little above 0? all guages are new but senders are not. all new oil 20-50 and 1 quart of Lucas oil stabilizer. I see everybody else is turning at least 4300-5500 anywhere in there so are all my guagues full of shit or is there issues? also white smoke coming out of valve cover holes. Any help would be great. And there is no rope or cat in the jet already checked that! ha!
