Congrats on the purchase. Going to be a lot of work but what's cool is you are starting off with a blank canvas and can do anything you want. Obviously within budget. The thing I suggest is look at a lot of gel/paint designs on the internet and tweak it the way you want with the colors you like. Good luck can't wait to see what you do with it

Yeah I've been looking online at other boats like mine, the white that's on it now it's paint over the original gel I was gonna try and get the paint off and see if I can salvage the gel but don't think it's gonna happen cause I need some fiberglass work done to fill a few spots

Just picked up my first boat, was looking for an Ultra and when this one came up, it's pretty rough looking right now but excited for what's to come. Any input on paint and interior is appreciated being my first boat sure Iam gonna be on here a lot asking question

Easy off oven cleaner works great, I've used it on cars to get back to original paint, used it on my fiberglass scoop to strip it back to the black gel coat.

I started with a small 1" putty knife on a loose chip and went from there,  two days later all the paint was off and down to the Gel, two days was actually about  4 hrs
