Always with a filter, it just gum's up, I run with a glass see thru filter so I am able to see whats going on.

How can I keep my carb clean?, mostly my primarys, without taking them out? They for whatever reason plug up. Maybe I dont run it very offten.Is it as simple as carb cleaner?

Thats what my buddy was thinking, the primary's on my carb! I have no idea what thay do? so I'll let him do what he does best!(all my carb work) It is my hope that what ever we find wrong that it will be obvious like what you said, "stuff in the needle & seat".

Everything is fine until the outside temp is anything above 90, My engine temp is right at 180 witha new mech gage,and I have a electric fuel pump.I really have to work the moter and when I do, the thing acts like it wants to die and I have to feather the gas to try to keep it running.I dony belive I dont belive I have a vaper lock issue because I can see fuel in the fuel filter being pumped into it.Is this a timing issue or do I have a vapor lock problem?If its 70-80 it seems to run great, but when its really hot out side watch out!! and pray it will get back to the ramp!! Any help would be great!!-FORD 460.

Right on, really is all I want to do is blow tha anti-freeze out and make sure it run's right so I domt tie up the ramp at the launch, I only run it ti'll it get's to temp which does'nt take long.I like that "don,t worry so much" because I'm a big time worrie wort! I read these post and a often times belive I have these problem's you all have!, is that wierd?

Cool, disconnect drive line? don't know, it look's like it can be a pain?, love that idea, really don't have to worry about the pump!

I know it's best to run your boat in the river/lake, but I like to make sure mine is running well before I hit the river, what is the proper why to run my boat without hurting anything?, turn water on before start or after?, WHAT!!??
