Jet Pumps / Re: D.I.Y. Ram's Horn Bucket for Place Diverter

So I know this is very old, but what happened with this reverse bucket? I would like to engineer something similar. I get a lot of pushback in the berk community talking about Rams horns; people suggesting they don't work period. This is completely ridiculous as every other type of pump American turbine, Hamilton, Scott all use large Rams horn buckets that not only have excellent reverse thrust but they can also stop the boat very rapidly. I run very narrow and shallow rivers up in Michigan with two Berkeley jets with diverters and have little to no reverse with either. I'd love to be able to stop the boat if I come around a corner and encounter a kayak, canoe or fishing boat. I'm certain there's a way to do it I just haven't seen it yet
