My wife and I bought A 76 sleekcraft which as turned out to be a rebuild we are doing the  work our selfs . We are pulling the transom as its rotted and strangely 1/4" plywood in places and 1/2" in others and then some 3/4" going to replace it with 1.5 " . My problem  is we have to also re set the intake for the SD 309 the intake is a berkeley H2155 which states its a 12°  . American turbine indicates a 8° install angel . So much to learn . I've had some amazing help already on 2 other sites . But there a million questions and head scratching going on here
