1964 chevelle 2 door hard top....purchased back when I was 15 from a guy who dismantled the car and left it to rot in his barn. This pic. is of the 1st day I actually drove the car the middle of my senior year.
Although the chevelle is the coolest car I've ever had.....and will never get rid of it, I will always love my mean green 70 blazer machine (wish I didn't sell it). Can't seem to find any pics. of it other than the ass end.

Has anyone ever eaten at Jacko's Steakhouse in Nipomo, CA??? I can honestly say that this is the best steak you will EVER have. Get the large Spencer medium rare! I promise you won't want another steak from anywhere else ever again.

Anyways, I've got a somewhat simple yet delicious (best tri-tip I've had yet) recipe for Tri-Tip that you should also try out.
-Approx. 3.5-4lb tri tip untrimmed
-Pappy's Prime Rib Seasoning
-Basque Meat Tenderizer (comes in a green bottle with red cap..usually located in ketchup/bbq sauce area of supermarket)
-Bud or Coors Light

Dry rub the tri-tip using the prime rib seasoning...too much is just about right. Seal in a zip lock bag and let stand for at minimum a few hours. Though I usually season, seal and zip lock the night before cooking. 15-20 minutes prior to putting tri-tip on grill, open zip lock bag and add 1/2 cup basque sauce and approx 3/4 can beer. Note: I only use charcoal or wood bbqs for cooking. When bbq is at appropriate temp (briquettes have turned white) I put tri tip in middle of grill and leave for 18-20 minutes with lid closed entire time. I then flip and leave for another 18-20 minutes. I enjoy my meat medium rare (center portion of tri-tip) although the ends of the tri-tip are usually medium.

The Spectra 20 I'm looking at has that same paint scheme.  That's a great looking boat....makes me want to go buy it right now.

I'm looking to swap in a hydraulic diverter unit in place of my manual. Does anyone know how much a kit like this costs? I thought I saw them advertised on JBP but can't seem to find them now.

My friends dad has a 1975 1 ton chevy pickup he purchased back in 2002 with 44k org. miles on it. He drove it until 88k miles when the trans gave out. It has been sitting in pasture ever since. He said if I pull the front dana 60 out then I can have the motor. It's a bone stock 454 with org. miles that he said ran perfect until trans went. I don't know if its 2 or 4 bolt main....anyone interested? It will be complete with all accessories.

Someone has to pick this one up soon....
