Doesn't look like a bubble deck from the pics, which would mean it isn't a Bonneville.  It appears to have a deeper V than my Super Cyclone, but that could be the picture angle.

It looks to me like a Cyclone.

Which ever hull it is, you'll love it.  Rogers made an excellent boat, I drove from DFW to Sacramento to pick mine up I wanted one so badly.

Thanks! I believe it’s a Super Cyclone at this point, and yeah the angle of that picture makes the hull look deeper, but it’s pretty shallow in real life. Stoked to get her back on the water after I go through the engine.

Welcome to SCJB. Rogers are great boats and that one is beautiful. Hopefully, the 20 year time out has been good to it.
It looks like a 18’ Super Cyclone. It is not a bubble deck, so I believe it’s not a Bonneville.

This is an ad for Rogers

And this is an old post about the difference between the Rogers hulls.

What kind of shape is it in? What does it need? What plans do you have for it?

Awesome! I followed those links and you’re right, it’s gotta be a Super Cyclone. Fortunately, my grandfather had it covered and stored in a warehouse. Looks to be in great shape! Not sure if the fluids were drained or not, but that will be a fun surprise. I plan on going through the engine and getting it back on the river. Thanks for the help! Cheers!

This is my grandfathers Rogers jet boat. It’s been sitting for 20+ years. I will be taking ownership and would like to know what hull it is. He told me that he believed it was a Bonneville Bubble deck, but I’m not too sure if that is correct judging by the hull’s shape. Sorry for the picture quality. Thanks in advance. Cheers!
