Sorry for not responding electrowomen.  I've been tied up with work and not checking your posts.  Here's the scoop on the boat.  I bought the boat in 2003.  I'm the 4th owner.  The boat has always been located in northern Idaho and eastern Washington since new.  Always fresh water.  I've always loved the old Glastrons so when this one came up for sale I had to have it.  I had never seen a CV27 before.  After I purchased it I started searching the internet for them and found out how rare they are especially to find one in good condition and even more rare is to find a blue and white one.  The boat is all origional except for repairs thru the years.  The upper drive gear case has been changed out on the drivers side drive.  The boat is coming up on 1200 hours.  It has the origional porto-potti, enclosed head with shower and sink.  White gas stove with another sink, ice box (not a fridge) and storage cabinets around the stove.  The berth sleeps two adults.  The table can be used up between the back bench seat and the passenger swivel seat or it can go down in the cuddy.  The table drops down in the lower cuddy's walkway and two side cushions go on it to make the bed.  The boat has full instruments and depth/fish finder.  It has a new fresh water pump (installed in 2002 and never used) with a 20 gallon water tank.  Twin 260 Mercs, two origional 23P clevar props with one spare.  It is a tipical old Glastron so it needs a good polish and buff every year.  The wood was varnished when I bought is but started to peel.  I sanded down all the external wood and tried teak oil for awhile but you can't keep up with it so last fall I removed the front two rails, rear wrap around rail and strips on the swim platform and sanded and varnished them again.   I installed new water pumps and changed the oil in the drives in 2005.  It has a cockpit cover and full factory canvas.  The boat is solid.  The bottom is in excellent condition and the floor is solid.  It has a cd player with remote and two speakers up and two in the cuddy with a small amp, but the stero is older and not high dollar by any means.  The CV27 was voted boat of the year by Powerboat Magazine in 1979.  People ask questions about it everytime we take it out.  Most people are shocked to here its a 1980.  The rounded windows and styling were way ahead of their time.  We bought the boat becuase we wanted a performance boat that was functional to sleep on for the weekend.  This boat has so much more cabin space than our Baja.  And it's probably the only performance cruiser you will find with an enclosed head.  I've had the boat up to 55 or 56 mph on the speedo.  I've never GPS'd it.  That was with four people, all our stuff and 50 to 75 gallons of fuel.  It has a 100 gallon fuel tank.  For twins it does expectionally well on fuel.  I easily use as much fuel with the 454 mag in the baja as what the CV27  uses.  The boat didn't get used at all in 2008.  To many other things to do that summer.  We took it out twice last spring then bought the Baja so the CV27 got parked.  On the two trips in the spring the drivers side engine didn't want to idle but ran fine from off idle to wide open throttle.  The left engine ran great.  Their is a small tear in the drivers side vinyl window.  The white vinyl behind the stove and on the ceiling in the head needs to be regloo'd.  It's starting to come loose.  A few more wood trim pieces need to be redone in the cockpit but like you can see in the pics below this boat is in very good shape for it's age.  I'm asking $ 8000.00 for it thru the winter as is.  If no one buys it by the spring I will fix every thing listed above and raise the price to $ 10,000.00.  O ya, also in 2004 I put new carpeted bunks on the trailer (from EZ Loader) and replaced all four wheel bearings, hubs and drums and intalled four trailer radial tires and a matching spare.  The trailer has surge brakes.  The trailer is faded and could use a paint job but tows really well.  I have pulled it with a Tahoe, then a new F150.  They pulled it well but were a little under powered.  No I got a diesel Chevy and you don't even know you're pulling anything. 

I'm selling my 1980 CV 27.  I bought a Baja 272 last spring and wanted to keep the Glastron but the wife says I can't have two 27' boats in the drive way.
