Not much in common, other than they are both race boats and they turn left. A 2.0 Merc outboard does not have near the HP, but it would get me on the water, to do some learning, until I can sell some of my other toys to move up. I own an Eliminator pickle (actually a Tahiti Caribbean / Hardin Marine out of an older Eliminator mold) with a big block Chevy. Not suitable for circle racing, I guess.

I am new to the forum and am very interested in boat racing. I will most likely start running COR races in the near future (to "get my feet wet"). I would eventually like to move up to something like Comp Jet. I would like to know how active Comp Jet is currently. Are there many races on the West Coast? How many boats participate?
I hope you all do not mind a newbie asking

. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
