I have a 93 Commander 21' Berkley jet w/A impeller. 468ci stock guessing 275-300hp. 750CFM carb.  It turns 4400 rpms and goes 55mph with 2 people and ice chest.  Im going to rebuild the engine.  I want more speed.  I have a merlin head  ready to go and i'm planning on going full roller.  The cam i want is a Comp Cam, Extreme Marine # XM284HR: Cam & Kit.  I'm hoping for 500HP and 5500rpm.    Will this cam work?    Any thoughts anyone.  I dont know much about engine building and any comment is appreciated.

I dont know if its legal to camp on the shore at night.  Might want to ask a park ranger when you launch.  But there is a few camping spots across from Copper Canyon.  They have tables, shade and bathrooms.  Good luck.  Have fun.

Looking for an in dash GPS.   any used ones out there for sale?  New in dash units are very expensive.  I think they are over 500$.

Anybody been to Pirate Cove/Park Moabi lately?  I love that place!  I was just there Desert Storm weekend.  Also i heard that in November Topock Bar Grill will be comletely torn down!!  They are putting in a huge Resort and Spa with 102 room Hotel, swiming pool w/ swim up bar and more stuff!  Awesome!
