I've had this hull and deck for at least 20 years, sold it to a Friend once and took it back in trade on a Rodgers Bonneville, and its time to get
 rid of it the hull needs to repaired up front at the keel,the deck was removed for the repair work, this is a very repairable project!!!!!
 this was rigged as an outboard when new, we were going to build as a jet with a set back pump. It doesn't have a trailer or any other rigging, just the hull and deck I need $1000.00 for it, The deck has been hanging up in my shop for 16 years, the hull is out in the open  for your inspection.

Hi Stoolie, with out seeing the condition of the  leeding edge of the Impeller and checking the clearences, it would be hard to determine wheather the brand of pump is culprit, or the the state of repair of your pump is the culprit. And as to changing componets out as a band-aid fix I think you could find a complete Brekley Rebuilt and have it installed for less than the Energizer Kit you mentioned. And then you options to up grade with performance parts would only limited to your budget.
