Still have the boat. Took it out once last summer in June. It sucks just having a boat sit on a trailer all year. Too far from the water i guess.

Hey, what do you guys use for waterproofing the seats? I had a local upholstery shop out here in Indio redo my entire upholstery, i.e. carpet, seats, decklid, panels and everything turned out great but it looks like they used a little waterproofing as possible. I've seen what looks like Bondo on some posts.

I may need to take the boat back to someone reputable just to make sure it lasts a few seasons.

New teleflex steering cable in 2006
All electrical works great including new blower
Synthetic oil changed every spring prior to season
Custom made sunbrella cover in 2007

This boats been in my wifes family since it was purchased in 1988 and was used mostly on Canyon Lake. I bought in 2004 from my wifes cousin and have babied it since.
Vanson trailer needs some TLC but tows great.

Wife wants a Pontoon or deck boat for the growing family, OUCH!! I have the boat in Palm Desert inside an enclosed storage unit.
Nothing needed. Just pull it to the river and start it up.
