The No Wake Zone / Re: any info on lake shasta?
« on: July 24, 2007, 06:54:48 PM »
Had my hawaiian on shasta about 6 years ago and it was great! I don't think they had ever seen a jet boat up there or at least they acted that way. Anyway, the lake is AWESOM,can go forever. We would go out right before dusk and the lake was glass, I would ski until it was to dark to see me when I fell! You will love it!

My buddy, crewcheif, joined awile back and told me about the event. I was him ha'n around until friday afternoon and decided to go. Had to get home, dig the boat out of the garage (hadn't been out since last august)  clean it, make sure it would run and my brothers and I headed out. Stayed at my parents place in Havasu, got to the AVI around 1o saturday. You guys had all the good spots on the beach so darn, we had to rip up and down the river all day (200 bucks in gas later) and check out the scenery!! But man what awsome bunch of boats!
The only bad thing about AVI is the customary idiots on the ramp and the lake lice (jet skiers)
Have had the hawaiian for about 9 years, got it as a project and rebuilt the whole thing. Spent most of the time at blythe. Being out there sat made me realize how much I like it!!!!
