Those of you working for someone they have to match your taxes paid, when you work for yourself you get to pay that too. Sure there's a few more deductions we get to take, but it still sucks.

If I'm going to do this, I too will do it right. I'm wondering if I can do it all for under $2k. I figure I'll need different intake, machine work, ride plate, shoe, shaft, drive line, SS impeller will kick the price way up. I'm open to used HP parts if their available. The outside of my pump is sweet, 9 vane agressor bowl, HP steering nozzle and PD.

I'm running a strong 468 at 8:1 with 9 lbs through a Procharger. AV gas works best. On suggestion from someone who knows told me I better run a bit of Marvel Mystery Oil if I'm gonna run straight AV gas due to the dryness of the gas. I have a stock intake with AA impeller, 9 vane Agressor bowl, HP steering nozzle, place diverter - 86mph at 5300 rpm. Don't know actual HP, but based on my research before I built the motor and the parts I put into it I'm guessing somewhere around 800 to 900hp. I could be completely wrong, but it doesn't matter this motor runs strong.

I'm gonna hook it up soon after the rain stops and take it to Cyclone for a conversation with Jim Brock. He's close to me. Once I know in detail what I have to spend to make the pump work its best then I'll decide on what's next for me.
