Welcome! My hubs and I just got ourselves a Spectra as well! We are not noooobs but the spectra is new to us! Lol. Mark, 'itsfiveoclocksomewhere' as he's known on these boards, is in Prescott too! Cool dude if y'all ever meet!!

All the old jet boats from back in the day are filled with 'noodles'! When my hubs opened up our 81 sprint it was like it was snowing! Huge mess!!!! I'm thinking floatation in the case of an emergency.

I am lucky to have never had that experience.... Simply cause I would have FREAKED out!!!! LOL. Of all the years I have been on the water, the only time I have come in contact with leeches (and it wasn't me personally, but friends of mine on different Boats, even though we all were together) was a Back Bay in Laughlin last summer. But like I said, I didn't have any contact.... It seemed to have been the boats that floated/waded in the 'weedy' areas... But those of us that floated/waded in the sandy areas were clear! Thank goodness!! Lol!!!

FYI.... I have never seen leeches on Lake Mohave or the river near to Willow.... Nor have I ever seen them anywhere in or near to Lake Havasu or on the river from Havasu to Pirates..... Just my two cents.... And I have been traveling all of these water ways 10+ years.....

His son, Chad, is over seas serving our Country and could not be there for the birth of his son.... But Mama did an amazing job regardless! Congrats Grand-Pops Hal!!!!
