I’m the same way.  I see it all the time in the dunes too.  I have more fun on the off weekends.  Stopped going on big weekends a couple years ago.

Yes sir that’s what I’m finding out.  It’s a two handed at about that Speed.  I just had the pump rebuilt and loads good no issues there just like you said high speed and shut down

I will measure mine when I get home.  Mine is at lease 1/8 below the keel.  I’m running a 19ft mini day.  Boat seems fine and fast.  Shut down can get a little crazy.  Has anyone ever trim there loader level with the keel?  Or is it a good idea?  Not racing I do like to get with it at times.  Just don’t like I have my face heading to the dash on shut down.  New hull this year and never had this issue with my other hull.  Sorry the thread jack steve

Lake Isabella is a big lake.  I go every year if I can.  I don’t have any problems with my jet boat there.  Later in the day might get a little windy.  It’s nice cause you can launch anywhere you find a spot.  Again just watch the wind lake can get rough quick.
