« on: October 01, 2016, 07:46:05 AM »
hey guys im looking for some waterski racks for my eliminator bubble deck. the boat had them at one point in time so it has the metal clips already in the back of the hull but the ski racks are missing. ive only found one picture of something similar and it was on this site. any info on how to recreate these or where i can get them would be much aprreciated i use the boat for skiing mostly and laying skis in the back is getting bothersome. thanks!
I may have one or two of the forks hanging up in the barn. I'll check.

The No Wake Zone / Re: New member looking to buy jet boat
« on: September 28, 2016, 11:06:47 PM »
New to this website, hoping for a little guidance.  I am also looking for a my first jet boat to buy. I am 18 years old, I have had a house on the Colorado river in parker/earp that my parents own and I have been going for as long as i can remember.  We have a 24ft master craft that I have been able to drive on my own a few times, but never by myself.  I realize I will never be able to take our master craft out on my own with friends, so I want to buy my own boat so I can tell my parents to "F*** Off" and drive my own boat.  Like I said I do have driving experience and I am able to dock just fine.  Also growing up over the years I have learned how to fix and maintain our master craft.  I feel like a jet boat would be a great first buy for me because I am looking for a NICE LOOKING 16-19 ft boat and with my budget of about $3000 a jet boat will work just fine.  So if anyone is selling their boat for under $3000 please hit me up 714 504 639four. Right now I have about $1300 cash saved up. I also have few I can trade with the cash if you are interested. Thanks guys!

Your 18 yrs old with 1300 hundred bucks and you want a  NICE LOOKING jet boat.
That sounds all too familiar. Good luck and check your attitude regarding your parents.

After many months at the painters we were finally able to bring the boat home. The wait was worth it! We also had new fuel tanks made.

Lov'n the "Family " idea. Boat is awesome. Subaru and kiddy are too cool...your GSD is watching all. Nicely done so far!

Hey Guys, my PVC is running off of a port on my carb is that cool or should I be utilizing a port on my intake? Thanks
.
Throw that Pollution Control Valve away. You don't need it. Install breathers on your valve covers. Cap the ports on your carburetor. Your done.

Hey 69 Kona , haven't really measured it yet. I am estimating 20 to 25 feet. Sounds like a lot but that's from transom back to transom, with a little left over.

I haven't called Taco yet.

« on: September 07, 2016, 09:16:02 AM »
Haven't had a lot of time to work on it lately, but this weekend I put on new carb and air cleaner. Turned out to still be too tall for the scoop.added 1.75 inches in height to the scoop, filled it with fibreglass, started working it into shape. I actually think it looks better. Lol.

Jet Pumps / Re: Hydraulic vs Manuel place diverter
« on: September 07, 2016, 08:22:10 AM »
I'm looking for opinions of the two types of controls. I've had 3 boats with manual diverters. The new hull I purchased has a hydraulic which is currently not working. With cost of a new pump and misc. Items, I can just change over to a manual control.
Correct me if I'm wrong , the hydraulic unit has an infinite amount of control to the nozzle whereas the manual has a set amount of nozzle control because of the notches at the handle. That plus a person has to have "Gorilla" arms to change the manual settings under load will have me changing 2 hydraulic unit. That seems pretty basic to me. But the extra cost and concern over the plumbing and reliability I've got me concerned.
