I called this guy...he canceled on me three times in 10 days.... I even set it up to have two boats at my house. After third cancel I was over it. The dude is weird. I'll leave it at that.

----------------------------------
Last night....I was drunk for a week.

Haha yeah most mobile people are weird. I've had nothing but bad experience with mobile detail and wash guys. I've been trying to find someone to come out every other weekend to my yard and wash all my equipment and I've had 6 guys never show up. They schedule it but never show up. I finally gave up. But that guys work does look badass if I may say. Keep us posted on how long it lasts. I need mine done for next season.

I run Amsoil 100:1 premix in all the two strokes on the family... I run them all at 50:1. Quicksilver is OK, not the best.

What is the serial number on your engine? (different years have different pumps)...

GT

I do run 50:1 quicksilver. Serial # 6436473. Thx gt

You need to replace the fuel pumps, flush out the scavenging hoses. Water pump impeller, do a compression check yada yada blah blah blah...

If the cable ends are starting to separate at all, the cables need replacing.

If I were closer, I would take a look at it.

Compression check is paramount. It should be checked every so often. (like twice a year) and a notebook kept.

This particular engine is known to puke the bottom cylinders because of a scavenging problem.

Who fuel oil are you using?

GT

Compression check was done at the lake elsinore marine before I purchased it. 110 all the way across. According to po he bought the motor from a shop in fontana and he showed me the receipt for 3200 bucks.

I have no idea how to replace the fuel pumps. If someone has a link or a step by step instruction how to I'd do it.

The cables don't look cracked dried worn or separating.

Call pat

I'd love to but pat and I aren't on best terms. I'd rather have someone else from the site look at it or if anybody can recommend a shop near me that would be great. Thx.

Is it running? At a minimum you should change the lower end fluid, replace all fuel filters, rebuild the fuel pump, change all the bleed lines, new plugs, new thermostats, new poppet valve assembly, verify max timing, remove the idle module, remove the oil injection and switch to premix. Run good quality 91 octane (no 10% ethanol preferred) and use good quality oil like Quicksilver Premium Plus or Pennzoil Synthetic.

Yes it runs well it ran hehe...po told me the forward/reverse cable needs to be adjusted. Clunks once or twice before going into gear. Shops around here are telling me that can't be adjusted it's time for a new cable.

I use quicksilver oil and only 91...I took the boat out for 4th of July to Big river and on the last day coming back from the dam she started dying out on me anything after 3k. She will go over 3k for 3-4 seconds but then dies. I have to go back under the seat and prime her again.

I'd love to do all of the above mentioned things but I have no idea how to haha.

Sent from my SCH-I545 using SoCal Jet Boats mobile app

Not that I know of...it's white and red but mostly white.
