have you ever driven a v-drive? i know you have been a passanger in one and from what I was told you didnt enjoy it...
Yes, but only for a minute or two. It's very simple, I don't like being the passenger
in anything that's fast. If I still had my 1100 Katana I'd offer you a ride as a passenger and scaired the phuk out of you easily, sh!t my 600 could have done that job.
... im not being a dick here, but i think you should maybe get some behind the wheel time before you attempt to start breaking triple digets. youre trying to fly when you havent even started to crawl yet...
You have the right to your opinion just as I do mine. But I disagree, I think you are being a dick here. I don't recall ever typing or saying that I want to jump into a boat and immediately go triple digits. As much as I'd like to flatter (sp?) myself, my balls aren't that big and it would definately take some seat time to get where I want to go. Hell you never know, I may never get the balls to go that fast even with years of experience. Speaking of experience (haven't even started to crawl yet), how's your
first boat doing? Hopefully well.
... i cant express this enough, as well as many others here.....get your boat in the water FIRST....then start worrying about putting your foot in it and getting triple digest...
Who said any different? Not me.
... youre trying to put the horse before the carriage. i could come up with a million sayings, which one will stick? ...
Coming from you, none of the sayings will stick. Why would I let them stick? Your making judgments of me and you don't know sh!t about me, except for maybe what you've been told. If you want to make judgements on others from what you've been told about them, have fun.
... im not tellin ya what to do here, but your head has got to hurt from just clicking this " " so much, let alone actually doing it. cuz its sure starting to make my damn head hurt from reading this thread.
I wouldn't listen anyway.
Well it's pretty simple from my point of view Brad. Either a person can build there own boat and learn while doing it, they can pay someone else to build it for them, or a combination of the two. If they decide to build their own boat, they can run what everyone else is running because it's easier (example: race gas) or the person can try and learn something (example: research different types of fuels - race gas, E85, alcohol, methanol).
And since your head is hurting I'm going to type out your response for you so your head won't hurt as bad. Pick one.
I've typed out a rant but I've decided it just isn't worth it.
I don't understand what you're trying to say.
I think you're putting the horse before the carriage.
The funny thing to me is that not too long ago you were trying to get back into boating because your family did it when you were a kid (just like me). You made some pretty stupid posts asking questions and making statements since then due to your lack of experience (just like me). To one extent or another you built your boat and had someone else do other work on your boat (just like me, High Life). Now you're trying to school me that I am stupid for thinking that I can put a boat on the water and immediately drive 100 mph even though I've never been near 100 mph
<--- Hello? Is this thing on? When did I ever say or type that?Yea Rod, lets get it runnin. Yer gonna need another $750 or so in gear, lifeline and helmet, to even drive it. I'm whitch you brother whatever you decide to do.
That's whats cool about you Terry. Thanks.
Does anyone know where I can buy much bigger nuts and a slightly smaller brain (can't go too much smaller than what I've got already, LOL).
