Miscellaneous / Spam / FOR SALE - - 1973 Suzuki TM400 Cyclone
« on: October 15, 2015, 02:37:40 PM »
This is a 1973 TM400 Cyclone that has all the period correct killer stuff done to it. This bike is almost identical to the bike Roger De Coster was sawing guys off on at the World Championship Grand Prix circa 1971-1979.. It has Preston Petty front and back fenders, Mikuni carb, Works Performance rear shocks (the Rolls Royce of shocks back in the day) to allow for more rear travel Works installed a different swing arm and moved the top shock mount forward. Not sure what all has been done to the internals of the motor (if any). I do know that it runs and runs well!! The original down pipe exhaust on it sounds pretty radical too.

All the plastics are good
Original bars, original levers, original rims all in good condition
The original tank that is on the bike has NO DENTS and does not leak.
The original seat has NO tears and the foam is STILL GOOD

A true period correct survivor

The bike also comes with a front handlebar hoop stand, a rear axle stand, a desert tank, and a box full of extra parts for the bike!

THIS THING IS A FULL ON BARN FIND!!!

If you have any questions or want to make an offer feel free to text or call show contact info

$2,500obo

Random Boat Parts For Sale / Harwood Comp I Scoop - $200 obo
« on: August 17, 2015, 02:03:20 PM »
This scoop was off a drag boat and was painted purple when I got it. I have fiberglassed and smoothed out the 3 small holes that were drilled in it. I left the holes for the dzus fasteners on each side, sanded the whole thing, and threw a half ass primer job on it for now.

I'm only selling it because I decided to go a different route with my build.

COMES WITH HARWOOD SCOOP PLUG

DOES NOT COME WITH CARB TRAY.

$200obo

Random Boat Parts For Sale / BIMINI TOP $125obo
« on: June 17, 2015, 10:54:20 AM »
Wanna still look fast while having some shade??? Well then this Bimini is the one for you!! Nothing says badass like Super Sport stripes..

This bimini comes with all the necessary mounting hardware, and a matching burgundy cover for the bimini top. No big tears or anything like that in the bimini. There is one very small snag in the corner on the cover but that would be a really simple fix.

This is an aluminum frame.
It measures 61" from mount to mount.

$125obo

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Gas Tank Venting
« on: March 02, 2015, 12:25:22 PM »
Anyone go a different route besides vented gas caps, or those things that vent out the side of the boat? I'm trying to avoid the vented caps if I can, due to the fill necks being pretty close to the headers...

Projects / 18' Kornowski Kustom -- gonna be a long winter
« on: October 22, 2014, 11:20:14 AM »
Picked up this river cruiser from Scott Kornowski out in Havasu a month or so ago...I was going to keep it a secret but I just can't !!!! It's a 72 Kachina bottom that he blueprinted, then glassed a new Crusader deck on it, (Scott owns the mold for Crusader) along with capping it.  It has 4 new mahogany stringers, new transom, custom aluminum tanks with fill necks in the boat, new intake/ ride and shoe set by MPD, along with a few other bells and whistles... Going to put my 468 roller motor in it and see how she does.. That's all gelcoat btw

What have you guys found to work best jetting wise for 600 vac secs on a dual top Weiand Tunnel Ram? I have my same carb and intake that was on my old 454 now on my new 468. The jetting that i have in the carbs as of right now are 72's on the primaries and stock metering plate for secondaries. This new motor is a 468 roller motor with about 9.5-1 compression. I plan on sticking it in the water next weekend to see what it does. It seemed to run ok on the trailer while tuning but expect a different scene at the lake with higher RPMs. I'm just curious what you guys say about this jetting for the new motor... Any recommendations??
