Anybody out at the river this weekend?
I'm heading to Laughlin/Fort Mohave this afternoon, will be at the AVI all night.

Can anyone give me some insight? Going to check a 21 spectra this weekend. It's a 74 with berk JC, new interior and a 455 olds. Obviously with my last build the olds didn't scare me off.

Any common problems I should look for? Thanks guys!

Picked this up a couple weeks ago and used it to float for a day. Have no need for it. Asking 75$ OBO... No holes but is missing one cross pole to the canopy . Still works fine. Comes with inflatable ice chest also.

Well reality has set in that I won't have a steady income come mid September (end of military service).

1974 18ft Southwind I bought last July, since then everything has been done that it needed.
The following is all stuff that I have replaced this past year

-Fresh 468 olds, restricted mondello push rods and main restrictors,  comp roller rockers,  KA heads built by clay smith, comp 274 cam, comp lifters and timing chain, ARP head and main bolts, speedpro forged pistons and Speedpro piston ring set.
- New flex plate
- Comp magneto distributor
- Taylor ignition wires
- Ceramic coated basset twisties
- Quick fuel 850 carb
- New carpet and New interior from     Martinez Marine
- Berkely JC with manual diverter.
- New 500gph bildge pump
- All new stainless/AN fitting water lines

- Trailer has new bunks and black powder coated cyclone wheels.

I have put almost if not 10k into the boat this year, and really want to see this boat go to a good home. The boat will come with a lot of extra stuff as well as all receipts

That's just a quick run down. Anybody serious I can answer any questions you have. The boat runs strong and very well.

Got it with a kit from Sam and ended up getting a floor mount. Asking $100 AMERICAN, Pick up only in Costa Mesa. I'll even spend about 3 1/2 minutes polishing it out for the right buyer.
Comes with everything you see plus a new cable clamp from PD. I took it apart, cleaned and greased it.

I have a set of very good condition 455 olds Bassett long tube OT Headers that I'm looking to trade for a set of either:
Twisties
Shorties
Or long tube that are blued/burnt
I was going to cut mine down and ceramic them black, but figured maybe there is someone out there that would prefer a newer set with good chrome. I'll be looking for a little cash on top. Feel free to send offers

Hey guys and gals,
My name is Drew and been going to the river since I was 2. Grew up on my uncles eliminator. Well decided to pick up a 74 southwind with a 455. Got a pretty good summer deal on it. Anyways, love the river and love boats. Currently active duty Marine Corps, (pays the bills) and always down for spontaneous trips to the Avi. Had a blast at the Father's Day meet at the Avi as well.  My uncle has a nice house in fort Mohave so will be there often. Whether it be local SoCal lakes or the river. i Hope to meet some of you soon and learning from the wisdom.
