Does any one have have any pictures of the water line setup beside the diagram also any pictures on the gate valves or bypass valves etc. I am getting ready to do my boat and need as much info as I can get.

460 motor basset thru transome exhaust with a thermostat kit.

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / BBF mini starter wiring

I am installing a mini starter on my boat. The stock starter has three wires red to the battery a tan and a yellow. The new starter has a place for 2 one is the battery. How do you wire this up or what wire do you use. I attached pics of old starter

I have a BBF and it was just recently rebuilt less than 5 hours on it. Well had some issues this weekend and took it out and the filter had slot of metal shavings. Had my engine builder look at it and he found that the PTO shaft had a wobble and he said it could of taken out all the bearings has any one had this happen

My boat is a BBF and has log exhaust I am wonder if I switch to thru the transom headers do they line up with the current exhaust tip in the back of the boat

Jet Pumps / JF pump cavatating

I just had my motor rebuild and added some power it’s a full roller460 punched 60 over with dove heads. The problem is my stock JF pump cavatats now on take off the pump has very few hours on it and has a A impeller. Any suggestions or answers will help. Thanks

Does anyone have any pictures of scoops that you run on your boat with a cover over your motor I am undecided which way I want to go. I want a cover but I also want a scoop either fiberglass or aluminum

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Ford 460 cam Roller setup suggestion

I am wondering what is a good setup. I have stock heads and would like to put a cam and roller setup in my motor I am looking for more performance.I am putting a victor intake and runing a 750 carbuerator. What is your suggestion lift size rocker arms ETC the more information the better. thanks

I have a mostly stock 460 currently running a edelbrock performer intake and a edelbrock 750 Carburetor. I wanting to change carburetor but not sure on size I am switching to either a Holley or a quick fuel. Do I want a 750 or 850? Also considering switching intake to a victor intake. What are your thoughts? Thanks

How many time do you cover your stringers with fiberglass mat and resin? Also do you sand in between each layer? I have heard you don't have to sand.

What is the best way to fix a hole in the bottom of a boat? I am replacing stringers and I put a hole in the hull when I was scraping the old fiberglass off.

Interior / Seat Color

So currently my seat color is white with brown piping. I am thinking of doing the same color on my new seats but when you go to pick out a white in vinyl you have about 50 choices. Does anyone know what color white they have used in passed? I think bright white might be too white?

I was wonder what everyone is running for ventilation. I have a 460 Ford and I run a PVC in the rear on the right side and a vent filter on the rear on the left side. I have a leak around the distributor base and was wondering if I don't need more ventilation any advice or pictures would be great. Thanks

Had the boat this weekend and it ran great. On the last run the motor started to tick it sounds like it is coming from the front right side valve cover. It is a bbf and the motor is only about a year old I have not torn into yet but was just wondering if any one had any ideas or suggestion. Thanks

Question how much water would you see if this tube was leaking? I have some water running on the side of my boat back on the side by the gas tank. The tube also runs on top or behind the tank. I notice it the most when floating in water.

What is everyone running for timing I am around 10 degree advance. I am wanting more from the motor any suggestions. BBF, 750 edelbrock, edelbrock performer intake, mostly stock only will run 4000 rpm. Any suggestions.

I am currently running HEI distributor you can purchase off eBay for a bbf. I have a accel dual point distributor that I am thinking about putting pertronix in and running. Has anyone used pertronixs? Or what would you suggest I want to get better performance.
