Well I won't go into the "back story" as to what got me to where I am, as most of you all know that my little one (my shadow) has cancer, and can see the original post "damn, life has dropped me", but what I am trying to do here is maybe find a fit/ or in shape person that can give me some REALISTIC/ no gimmicks guidance.
With the situation that has unfolded with my baby girl, it has obviously put quite a bit of stress/sleeplessness/eating absolutely unhealthy, and here I am from a decent 205, to pushing about 245lbs. And that 245 is despite from (before all this) AT LEAST a six pack a day too, not a beer in 2 months!!!!
May 1st., the day we found out what was happening to her, and thru the following week, I dropped about 15 pounds from,... getting emotionally sick and puking constantly from the unbelief of what was happening, ( I compare it to, like in the movies when a person finds out a loved one has died, they get sick and throw up??) I was throwing up constantly!!, I had no appetite, and other than NoDoz, and Monster/RockStars, to keep me going while traveling back an forth to work at 4:00am, to the hospital, keeping shit up at the house, and dealing with all the other obstacles in life, I didn't consume anything actual food wise, for about 15 days or so.
NOW, about 2 months later, with basically living at the hospital, not eating good and correctly, and not having my wife cook dinner, and us on a "normal" regular schedule, I am at a chunky 245lbs!!!
I am wondering if someone here has a regiment they can pass on to me and say " mix this stuff together" eat this, this, and this, and do these exercises, and you will be "healthy" again.
I'm not looking to become the next Mr. Universe, or bench press 350lbs. I just need a little"guidance" to what to do, versus going to a supplements store/ health store/ gymn, that their focus is to SELL ME as much quick cure-alls as possible.
I'm NOT opposed to supplements, or health food stuff IF IT WORKS, but I went to a supplements store today, and saw 1000 different bottles of ""the cure to all my problems"" ha and just turned around and walked out dissapointed and ashamed!
Thanks, Ken
