Ok, am I the only one running a legend?

Jetaholic, I agree, I need to change the bearing. So I'll have ta pull the motor back out, this is the E-style pump, can you fellas tell me if I'll have to remove the whole pump? I just changed jobs and I'm at collins marine on bethel island, my tool supply is plentiful, but just cause were a boat shop dont mean we have all the tools right! Will i need any special tools, will my Merc or volvo tools get the job done? This pump may have 20-60hrs on it, I just dont think they ever greased the bearing, should I change the zert and see if it quiets down first? Or just dont take the chance! If I pull the pump what sealant should I use when installing the pump? I just know it wont be 5200! We have ripped transoms apart with that! Do we have a forum here for doing this here or do I need to order that chilton/sealoc/clymer book?
