Chromoly tight welded.
Set up for coilover and bypass shocks

Can someone tell me what there new address is. I'm supposed to be dropping off a block tomorrow and cant seem to find it. Google only shows the old one and it dosent come up in maps. When I search the Facebook page it says the link is broken, lol.

Hulls / Looking for info on Avenger boats

Looking at an avenger for sale and want to know anything I can about these hulls. How do they handle, are they smooth, are they fast, are they strong? Any info would be great.

Hulls / Tahiti day cruiser spectra copy?

Does anyone know any thing about these hulls? Looks just like a spectra. Are they a copy or different? Is the build quality good? Will they handle some power? How do they ride?
I know it's a lot of questions but my brother is looking at a couple that are for sale and we want to know all the info before he buys anything. Any info or experience with these would be greatly appreciated.

Mk IV 2 bolt main 454. Standard bore stroke. Cam has a wiped out lobe and lifters are a little worn. Other then that It's in decent shape. It's a little dirty also Complete long block with 781 casting heads. All stock. Engine is disassembled. $400 or best offer. I need this thing out of my way.

Pulled this 350 and 400 trans out of our truck. It's a 75 and later motor. Don't know any details. It's wore out but was running. Selling complete with everything. Edlbrock carb, less then a year old. Performer intake, water pump, fuel pump, accel hei distributor, fan, headers, starts, and trans. Everything in the picks goes.

Got a late 90s merc block that came out of a running boat. 454 , 4 bolt main, hydraulic roller set up.
I believe it's a L29. Block only. Cylinders will clean up with a home. Never bored. It only had 300 hrs on it.

Hey guys, putting new plugs in our boat. Just had the heads cleaned and re surfaced and fixing a couple other things. Anyways my question is what plug gap should I run. I was told to use acdelco MR 43 plugs. It's a 502 HO BBC with a msd marine 6 blue box, Hardin billet distributor and msd coil.

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Well there's water in the cylinders!

Took our advantage out last weekend and didn't even make it out of jack Smith before the thing pegged the temp gauge! Shredded impeller that was supposedly changed by a shop a couple months ago caused this. Didn't even last 2 trips!

Anyways on to my question. If there is water in the cylinders and it didn't ce!from the manifolds or a blown head gasket where else can it come from? This is a gen 5 BBC 502 crate motor by the way. Intake manifold gasket possibly?

I've got some of it apart. Gonna pull the heads in a little to see the gasket and check the cylinders.

Projects / 75 Spectra 19

So I guess I should start an official build thread of this Spectra I picked up a little while ago. Keep in mind I'm no professional and I do this on my free time with a limited budget so this may be a long build. My plan with the boat is to get it cleaned up build aI'll motor and pump and get it put together so I can enjoy it for a few seasons or more. Then maybe when I have some more money saved I can plan new paint jobs, built pump, and a crazy motor and so on.
Here's the float. Seems to be in decent shape with some cracks in the paint but I'm not to worried about them.

Gelcoat / Paint / Fireberglass Repair / Sub floor vs stringers

I just picked up this Spectra 19 and I'm toying with different ideas inside the hull. I'm gonna be pulling the floor out anyways as it has a couple soft spot. My question is what is good on these boats. Should I stick with a quarter stringer and sub floor from there forward. Should I do a single center stringer from motor box forward and then bulkheads every so many feet. Or replace the motor box and run 2 full length stringers all the way. I like having a floor. Makes it eiser to walk and must stuff. I feel like with 2 stringers I can't put a floor on top because it will put the seats way up. I've seen it done so Manny different ways. Right now I'm leaning towards a center stringer with bulkheads and a floor on top of that. What's everyone's opinion.

Finally got my first jet boat! 1975 Spectra 19. Not new to boats at all, just never had a jet before. I'm super stoked. Hull and trailer are pretty solid. Should be a fun project.
