Is there anybody that can give me some advice on witch Direction to go on my nitrous. We put a new 632 in this year and my engine builder told me if I’m going to put a nitrous plate on it that I would be safe hitting it with 200 but anything over that I am going to have to work with the timing. I have a 6AL-MSD box in there right now. I have the jets to take it up to 500 HP hit but I was wanting to no if they make a box that I can install with my MSD box that I have now that can help me with the timing. I’m a plumber not a super mechanic. So I need some guidance so I don’t destroy my motor. Thanks for any help that y’all might have.

I’m hopping that there is some one out there that can help me.... I had a 454 in my Youngblood last year and over the winter I ordered a 632.... told the builder it was for my jet boat but obviously here on the east coast these builders don’t know what a boat needs... went to install the motor over the weekend and the dam thing wouldn’t fit with an 8” oil pan. Sooooo I go to Jegs on Sunday and pick up what I thought was the fix. A Milodon 7 1/2 inch 10qt. Pan that said in the description that it was for marina use for jet boats...LOL... well not for a 632... after changing the pick up and doing a little cutting on the inside of the pan for the pick up I thought I was golden... wrong.... it looks like the stroke on this thing with aluminum rods it’s still just barely hitting the oil pan when I turn the motor over. It is not in the boat right now. I just pulled the plugs and was turning it over while on the engine stand. So I don’t no if anybody out there has a 7 1/2 inch pan that can clear the stroke of aluminum rods on a 632 Or can I do a little tapping and make this one clear. Any help would be much appreciated.

I didn’t no if there was anybody out there that could tell me were I could send my intake to.  I want to have a NOS Fogger installed on it.  My intake is an oldie but a goodie. Old Offenhauser high rise. I just need to make sure that the holes that the injectors will screw in to are straight and right we’re they need to be. I’m on the east coast “OHIO” but could send it anywhere.  Any help would be much appreciated thank you all and have a blessed day.

Hey guys and gals.... I put all new gauges in my 85 Youngblood over the winter but I was wanting to no a little bit more about these new MPH gauges with GPS. They look pretty neat but they are a little pricy. Didn’t no if I should stay old school with the standers rubber hose going to the gauge. And Auto Meter makes them both for my set. Just thought I would check with my west coast friends out there because you guys are blessed to get to drop a boat in a glass all year round for the most part. I also sent another picture of a gauge that I can’t seem to find out what it used to do. It no longer works so I am going to have to replace it with something. Didn’t no if anybody could tell me what the purpose of it was. Again.... like always thank you all so much and y’all have a bless one.

This is what is stamped on my 454 in my boat.  I’m really hopping some one can tell me what the D & B with those Numbers mean. I took a picture of it but u will still have to zoom it in a bit. Hi everybody.... my name is Joe and I have owned jet boats most of my life and all of them has had log thru the hall  exhaust. I got out of the boating seen for about 20-years and stumbled on a jet boat threw a friend and I Purchased it. It is a 1985 TX-19 Youngblood. And it has a 454 with Bassett over the transit Header’s. I am spoiled with my other boats because it was pretty easy to deal with the water. Now I have water going into these Header’s and I called Bassett and they were rattling off about valves need to be opened 2/3 and other valves need to be opened so-so and on and on and on. Is there anyway to keep the headers but rout the water another way. I am just scared for the water to go back into the heads. I’m sorry this is so long and also I’m sure it’s a pretty stupid question at that. But more than anything I just want to say hay to everybody since I’m a new-be. I’m from out here on the east side “OHIO” thanks again to anybody that can set me straight .
