I have a sbc with iron heads and pretty much stock with Edelbrock logs and want to cam it as much as possible before any water revision issues...any input would be appreciated

When out and got wet on the 4th with the family. Boat ran good when cruising at around 2500 rpm . When into it at 3000 thru 4000 rpm puking oil badly thru breather and pcv valve....any help of why or the cause of this is appreciated......
