Engine Mechanical / Electrical / BBC Intake Manifold Question

Thinking about swapping out my cast iron intake to aftermarket. Any recommendations on which one I should try? Air Gap was the first recommendation. 454 basicaly stock. Manifold needs to be low or medium rise due to engine cover clearence.
And does anyone have one laying around?

65 Mustang, 6 Cyl, 3 Speed on floor, Converted to five lug, needs brakes,wheels and tires, carb leaks, runs, but have not driven it. Body and paint is clean(silver) needs some interior pieces. headliner is done. Car must be trailered, I am transfering vehicle in my name, Pink slip available as soon as I receive it.

Topock / Laughlin / Five Mile Landing

This trailer park is about 4 miles from Topock Marina. Looks like it is on that body of water Northeast of the Marina. Does anyone know or have any info. about this place? Can you launch from there and be able to get out to the main river? Any services nearby? Food or gas?

for wrenching on the commander. Had some fuel delivery problems the last couple of times out. Too much fuel then not enough. Yes, a simple fix when you have the time, I've been busier than a one legged man in a arse kicking contest. Skip stepped up and installed a new regulator,guage and plumbing, took it for a test and tune ride,made some adjustments. 100% improvement. We all did the lake on Saturday,not one problem,other than burning a couple of burgers.
Just want to say thanks and that this site is pretty damn awesome, looking forward to the next float.

Hey All, New to your site. I have searched previous pages trying to answer my own question but no luck. I have a BBC with a Holley that left me stranded in Topock last week. Ran fine from AVI to the bridge then just died. Restarted and ran very rough. Looked down the carb to see mass amounts of fuel pouring in. Pulled the needle and seat tried to clean,reinstalled with same condition. Swapped primary and secondary needles and idled a little better. But trailered it out. Would the excessive fuel be caused by stuck needle or would it be from float level adjustment? I swapped out the fuel filter also. The carb has two previous trips without problems. Could this just be dirt in the carb or a power valve. It did backfire once prior to this problem.
