Ok...I have looked and searched for and answere to this one also on more sites than this....

Have a Holley 750 list 1310-3 that has a moist secondaries shaft leak when motor is shut off and is under fuel pressure (6psi max after engine is shut off or runninig). I have set the rear float 1/8 of an inch below the site window with the carb level. I know Holley's are known for this if the bushings are worn on the shaft or if it has to much play in the shaft. So i replaced the shaft and bushings and it is still doing it. I looked at the butterflies when it was shut down and I can see them getting wet, but can't tell where the fuel is comming from. Any ideas? It has had a kit put in it with all new no stick gaskets, but this is really getting the best of me as how to stop it.

Thanks jim

Hello to all and wanted to say thanks to all the people that post all the information a person can get on a jet boat. I have been reading and reading and reading so much so that I am almost crosseyed from it all. There again thanks to all.

Here is my delema, I live on the eastcoast and jets a far and few around here. Got my first jet boat and had to do a lot of work to it but I can say it will fly for a 20'. Pictures to follow.

The engine is a 468 bbc with peanut port heads that work great. 750 holly dual feed and holley airgap intake.. dont know the cam as i got the motor second hand but it is a comp cam with behive springs and turns right at 5000 with a A impy just rebuilt and has a nice little chop to it. Before rebuild it ran 56 at 5200 and on gps....have not run gps since rebuild but it pulls harder than it did with the seatometer.

The thing I am trying to find out is about the pistons in this motor. Pulled the heads a while back to take a look see and found "Manley .060 P699" stamped on them.  I know they are .060 over sized, but i was thinking of refreshing this thing and dont know what to do about these. Where to get rings or info on them. I have looked everywhere to no avail. Engine runs great with no issues. No pinpging, rattles, nothing. When you step on it takes of like a rail.

Thanks for the help all. I know I am also a long way off....3000 miles but used to live in lompok outside Vandenburg AFB for a good while.
