are top mount starters all the same for a BBC? How do i know which one to buy? where do i buy one? i have a 4 point mount set up. im tired of my bottom mount failing if it gets wet.

The Parker Strip / Accident in Parker

I saw the report on social media. Young guy was hit after he fell off a tube. He was hurt pretty bad. The boat that hit him was a larger Nordic. There is a very detailed description of what the boat looked like. The Nordic took off but was chased by another boat. Unfortunately, the Nordic was too fast and got away.

What do your recommendations for a quality regulator? Too many failures with Holley regs. Im running a Clay Smith mechanical pump. I called Clay Smith and they said they only sell holley regulators, but he agreed the quality is not the greatest since they are now made in China ( say CHAY NUH)

I'm considering changing to fuel injection. I plan to run an O2 with an adapter between my echaust manifold and riser. How do i keep my water temp at above 160? My understanding is that the computer reads engine temp but it must be above 160. Those running EFI, what are you doing to maintain proper water temp with open cooling systems? Im considering using Holley's EFI. Thanks for any input.

Jet Pumps / Barracuda pumps

What are your opinions on these pumps? My buddy found a boat in great condition with this pump but I've never heard of it. Very little info on it. Would hate to buy a boat with a mediocre jet or one that has no parts available for a rebuild should it need one in the future.
